Monique's designs are influenced by masculine shapes, combined with feminine lines and proportions and plays with the concept of functionality. Using a mixture of technical, clean and feminine fabrics/materials, also incorporating layers, panels and experimenting with different fastenings, pockets and accessories. These help to convey an element of sportswear with a minimal feel to her design. Combined with unique laser cuts and screen prints help to maintain the femininity in the final product.
