The initial formula
Moneo is born in the right year for a good idea and the sharing of a concept close to reality.
Bruno Cavani, Mattia Goldoni and Luca Manfredi are friends living in the same town. Modena is a corner of the world with strong roots in its history, where ideas circulate among ambition and a love for beautiful things.
The friends share this location and an ideal of simple, well-made design, while striving for courage and innovation. The Moneo clothing brand originates from friendship and a common goal to make itself heard, a new sound not just an obvious echo.

In the fraction of a second before you leap.
Breath, energy, vertigo, a flight from parameters which grants a free-for-all experience, since the upward swing carries you far above those who choose to stay rooted to the ground.
Day after day conformism and comfort regulate the volume of thoughts to an indistinct murmur. True departure implies no return, no need for conquest, a pure remote feeling of moving towards the unknown, actually seeing no longer just looking.

COMPOSITION
The golden section is the initial formula of figurative art, the first relation between uneven lengths, between micro- and macrocosm . This is Moneo, balance and composure, the sharing of space and direction within an ideal of beauty, lying in precise segments, held in the perfection of a circle.
Moneo is a project rather than an item of clothing. The material is a voice to expresses inspiration, ideals and a 6-eye vision.
Bruno designs the entire collection, believes in exclusive ideas and the constant, incessant and surprising research granted by everyday life. Moneo is the design of thought, and he defines the boundaries.
Mattia and Luca concentrate on promotion and communication: from supplier care to retail stores , the spark generated by personal relations keeps Moneo alive.

QUALITY NOT QUANTITY
The only limit the brand allows for , we choose to see it as a horizon line. The original concept comes to life in an absolutely unique item, with no variety of colour and material, and never in large quantities. Each item is entirely designed and produced in Italy, using materials which are innovative and undergo strict quality control procedures. A good concept, just like a good product, has no time limits. Seasonality is to be avoided, since constant inspiration is the propelling agent, research which comes into existence through the challenge of slipping a design object onto one’s skin.

MADE IN THE RIGHT PLACE
Moneo was not born in Italy, but in Emilia. Bruno selects every single material, by preciousness and technical
characteristics, thus ensuring excellent print quality. The brand is produced in Carpi, whose unique history and experience hold the door ajar onto the future: the items are cut, embroidered and tailored in this district of Emilia, where they undergo laundering and ironing tests for best possible final results.
A journey which exacts time and precision but grants instants of perfection.
Moneo is a personal dimension, furnished with human variables, especially during the production cycle: each item is different from the other, since handicraft can allow itself the subtle variations granted by the human hand. Beauty and Perfection do not coincide in Nature, error is the colour of matter.
Let your eyes be ‘dirtied’ by errors, the production process imperfections make Moneo a great place to live. Everyone likes well-finished products, we don’t like the word everyone. Each with his own story, with his own fleshly flaws and bright-eyed look: Moneo does not choose models, it has its own people and just meets them, smiles and flashes. Different physical make-ups, contrasting characteristics of common people, extraordinary in that they choose to be themselves. Moneo likes to be worn by them.

People clash and an electricity, an immediate contact is generated. Meeting creates interest, familiarity results in sharing and the constant exchange of ideas, thoughts and ideals.
The MONEO Collective is just this, a perimeter which never encloses a space, anyone can shift the diameter of our circle by a few steps. People who raise their voice or their glance beyond predefined limits, who believe dreaming together is a good investment of time, energy and personal skills. Anyone can take part in the MONEO Collective, an alliance of multi-coordinate collaborations for we are not interested in selecting talents, we wish to discover how many more talents are out there.

Creativity has an undertone which holds the rhythm of the mind, it follows the beats and pauses of the day to kill monotony in everyday life. SEZIONESUOMO is MONEO’s soundtrack, a project created to prove that inspiration does not thrive in just one world.
Research, quality, project and choice all go into creating an item of clothing, just as into a good track. MONEO selects the music using the same criteria, following on a road which does not stop at genres but looks into validity, compositions which deserve to be put in play. Hip-Hop, RnB, Softrap, Chillout, Ambient, Tribal each using its own language, garment-dye the desire to emerge, to be known free of the limits on how to do so. SEZIONESUOMO suggests the Timeless tracks of great classics, with the creations of new talents to accompany visual and video projects. They are restriction-free playlists that adapt to everyday life without defining it: a MONEO corner which infuses objects with sound, and we believe it also gives them a sense of fulfillment .
Music comes from inspiration, we choose music which generates inspiration.
Whatever the vision, it is a way to take part in it, yet again to share and be chosen.
