Born in Ostend, on the coast of Belgium. I first studied architecture in Gent, but after 2 years changed to fashion and completed my bachelor and master at the royal academy of Antwerp.

Painting an invisible moon

‘ The book “Le Petit prince” of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry tells the story of a little prince traveling from one planet on the other. He finds himself having trouble communicating with the mature world. Thinking in a very naïve and childish way he sees the world were almost everything is possible. For the little prince it is possible to write on water, walk on the stars, grow up in a day and to disappear. Every silhouette is a representation of one naïve idea and tought of the prince.

I combined this basic idea with an royal estetic for what i did research at style of clothes of princes thruout time and fell in love with the world around Marie Antoinette. It gave very soft colours and a lot of detailles such as ribbons and crowns.
