Mina Lundgren's work investigates the possibilities of form as a uniting factor for different aesthetics and expressions. Working in a geometric language, she believes in the power of subtle distinctions in form language. Mina has studied at Steneby, School of Arts and Craft, University of Gothenburg, Central Saint Martins, and is currently attending the Master's program at the Swedish School of Textiles, University of Borås.

The Cube collection

The Cube collection is an investigation of form between the cube shape and the body trough the materiality of textile. It is an exploration of how the static elements of the cube form can be related to the organic elements of the body. The cube shape loses its original origin when executed in different textile materials and make these two extremes correspond. A balance between static and soft occurs when bringing both simple and complicated constructed garments together as a unit in a collection.
