Michèle Schneuwly, beholder of a bachelor in fashion design from the HEAD in Geneva (Switzerland) in 2010, won the first prize at the Shanghaï competition in 2009 for the elaboration of outfits for the « guides du pavillon suisse » (je sais pas ce que c’est) at the universal exposition 2010 at Shanguaï. She has a very diversified experience and has realised mandates for companies such as Omega, Michel Jordi, British American Tobacco. In 2012, she won the Genilem HES-SO prize for the creation of a company as well as the AHEAD Design Incubator prize. She realizes her dream, her passion in creating her own label of ready-to-wear clothes and accessories, imagined mainly for men, under the name « michel ».

Inspired from the atmosphere of London and its inhabitants, on his return in Switzerland, « michel » offers a range of ready-to-wear clothing and accessories that combines chic, rock and playfulness. « michel » is a classic style revisited in a comtemporary and urban way, with bright colours and a quirky british touch. Ranging from jeans to duffle coats, whilst not forgetting t-shirts, bags, cardigans, etc., « michel » fulfills the demands of a customer searching for a style that is as authentic and elegant as it is unique and creative. The origin and the manufacturing from the "michel" clothing line's fabrics, are exclusively located in Europe, in order to ensure an ethical process and an irreproachable quality that the Swiss spirit requires.
