This collection is inspiredby series of photos called“terrain” by the photographer Jackie Nickerson, this seriesdocuments a typical workingday of farmers from Africa,who live in a traditional wayfar from modernism, andhave respect and value forthey hard physical work, andconnection to nature and hisnatural resources. From thisconnection, a new aestheticis created. I took elementsfrom this aesthetic, and I triedto bring them in a new andmodern way who relevant fortoday. I chose a refreshingcolor palette while combiningsimple materials used by thefarmers during their dailywork day, such as syntheticraffia, shade cloth, thick ropesand wooden poles. That not usually used in fashion, most of the materials were recycled.
