MERCÊ is a womenswear brand; founded by Jaqueline Richards.

Jaqueline was born and raised in Brazil, but moved to the UK in 2008.

MERCÊ is a Portuguese word that translates as Grace, imparting the synonyms: elegance, stylishness, finesse, poise and effortlessness.

With a vibrant interest in all things ‘fashion’, she has studied Fashion Design in the UK, accomplishing a BTEC National Diploma in Fashion Design with triple distinction followed by a first class degree in Fashion with Professional Enhancement, from Coventry University.

During this time, Jaqueline has entered various fashion competitions, show and collaborations; recently wining runner -up on The Midlands Fashion Awards Emerging Designer 2016.

Jaqueline has experienced working in the Fashion Industry by undertaking placements with companies such as Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, Suzi Turner Couturier, Gavin Douglas and Correo Ervhanski.

MERCÊ is a fusion of both Brazilian and British cultures, focusing on effortless designs, femininity and the exploration of colour through digital print. Looking to inspire a sophisticated and modern woman, for whom uniqueness of style is paramount to their character and personality.
