MERA MERA STUDIO is a brand that was formed when the team members inadvertently met at 2016 Global Fashion Mentorship, a mentorship and competition program that was a part of Young Creator Indonesia Fashion Institute organized by Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE). Was competing as a team, and won the first place with a collection that focus on comfort and simplicity, we then agreed to challenge ourselves further by continue running the fashion label we’ve initiated together.
Formerly ‘Meraki’, we decided to change our brand name to ‘Mera Mera Studio’—a new, unique name that we wish still carry the spirit of Meraki; which is doing something with soul, creativity, or love; when you leave a piece of yourself in your work.
Mera Mera Studio is a brand whose design is defined by muted colors, textured fabric, and remarkable details incorporated into classic cuts and silhouettes. We produce versatile outfits that can be effortlessly donned by women with personalities.
