After graduating, she decided to further her education by attending the Academy of Art University in the United States, where she earned a master's degree in fashion design, laying a solid foundation for her career.

During her time in Shanghai, Lin had the privilege of collaborating with a Canadian fashion designer, and together they co-founded an independent fashion brand. This collaboration introduced her to the world of accessory design, particularly jewelry and fine jewelry, sparking a deep interest in this field.

In 2023, Lin made the decision to elevate her passion for jewelry design to new heights, relocating to Canada to pursue advanced studies in jewelry design. This journey not only enhanced her skills but also provided her with a deeper understanding of the art of jewelry craftsmanship. Ultimately, she established her own independent jewelry brand, naming it 'MAVERICK EDEN.'
