Hi, My name is Mavel Ortiz Reyes! A Dominican American designer born in Downtown Manhattan, New York City, and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut. Constantly surrounded by an artistic environment, I developed a keen eye for creativity and expression; At the Fashion Institute of Technology, I majored in Fashion Design, specializing in Sportswear. Throughout my professional endeavors, and within my expertise in this concentration, I have cohesively organized sportswear collection presentations, market-appropriate three-dimensional sample prototypes, and design research, among many other skills acquired throughout my educational evolution. As a detailed-oriented and performance-driven candidate with apparel design knowledge, I welcome an opportunity to showcase my qualifications.
