Matina J Skarou graduated from the London College of Fashion with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Textiles Design. Originally from Athens, Greece, she is based in Central London where she has lived and worked for five years. After working for Claire Barrow and Zoe Jordan she started her own label, launching her first collection named Aylon for Spring/Summer 2015. She's now launched her second collection named Light Fos Collection. Matina specialises in print design and her work ranges from print, illustration and womenswear design to knitwear.

Light Fos Collection

The Light Fos collection is the current collection of Matina J Skarou. Inspired by photographic material gems and light reflection, it's a mixed media project resulting in abstract prints through the combination of layers and materials. The collection consists of varying materials such as silk, organza and lycra. The mixing of layers and textures results in a feeling of fading light. The collection features both everyday looks, and nightwear.
