Art is a reflection of the artist. What's also true is that they tend to merge.

"A part of my design aesthetic is myself. I identify as non-binary. God made them male and female, but he didn't just stop there, I say. Whenever I conceptualize anything, my first question is, would I wear it? My college and education in pattern making taught me to answer the question of how.
I am a person of mixed race, right from the Anglo- Indian heritage from my mother's side, to the Catholic Goan heritage from my father's side, to say that the mix-up of said cultures didn't play a part in shaping my design aesthetic would be denial.
My design aesthetic is backed by research, both to stay true to the muse, and to make sure said finished product is original.
My biggest muse and inspiration are people, of all kinds. I strongly believe that fashion should tell a story, whether it's about a group of middle-aged women who want to try something different, whether it's of a person who saw a glitched phone display and found beauty in something broken, or whether it's of the people who turn an island into a living breathing city."
