Arsya Giri is a fashion designer originally from Kathmandu, Nepal. She spent most of her life away from home, studying in India and later obtained her bachelor's degree in London. After working as an assistant designer for Lula Laora in London for 2 years, she returned to Nepal to start her own sustainable fashion brand, Marsyangde launched on 1st January 2023.
The brand aims to bridge the gap between manufacturing and design by implementing a minimal waste approach and upcycling materials. Marsyangde is a made-to-order brand, it uses offcuts to generate new one-off designs, A new approach to reduce waste and promote sustainable fashion, with out COMPROMISING the original design.
