The Marlon Tuazon Couture fashion brand, the first and double gold winner of Ternocon 2018, has become synonymous to quality, style, and unspoken elegance. Hence becoming the preferred designer of choice by many renowned VIPs in the Philippine beauty, showbiz, and the political arena. These include the country’s A-List celebrities such as Sarah Geronimo, Bea Alonzo, Liza Soberano, veteran star Zsa Zsa Padilla, and more recently, stunning beauty queens Ariella Arida, Rabiya Mateo, and Beatrice Luigi Gomez.

Being in the fashion industry for the past 30 years, Marlon Tuazon Couture has also catered to major corporate entities such as San Miguel Corporation, the Pampanga Provincial Capitol, the Municipality of Porac, and the PhilHealth Provincial Office, just to name a few, in creating their uniforms.

Marlon Tuazon Couture continues to thrive amidst the challenges of the recent global pandemic. In the advent of the Covid-19 outbreak, his creativity and volunteerism were channeled towards the protection of the frontliners, which eventually became a health requirement to cater to a wider end-user: the general public. As such, reusable and protective facemasks became the new norm. MCT was the first to innovate The Katutubo Facemask, which was officially launched at the Katutubo.Ph Pop-Up Market by BENCH in Bonifacio Global City, in October 2021. At present, his popular customized 3D Mask was the only one approved for use by The Medical City Group in the Philippines.

In the last quarter of 2020, Marlon was tapped by the local government of Angeles City to spearhead its #Christmasks Project for the benefit of the Aeta children of Sapangbato. It also promotes training and livelihood for local homebased seamstresses, who are guided by Marlon’s quality and attention to details. Marlon actively participates in various humanitarian efforts, both in the public and the private sectors, and also continues to share his talents by mentoring young promising designers, as part of his advocacy.

In August 2021, Marlon was one of three featured Filipino designers whose creations were exhibited in New York City. Entitled, “Pinangárî: Threads of Hope”, this fashion exhibit of modern ternos and barongs was showcased at no less than The Philippine Consulate General in New York, right in the heart of the famous 5th Avenue in Manhattan!

More recently in June 2023, his collection was featured in Rampa Manila, as one of the highlights of the capital’s 452nd founding anniversary held in the historic Bulwagang Rodriguez of the Manila City Hall. Marlon was also awarded the prestigious Ceremonial Key to the City of Manila, being officially adopted by the Capital as one of her own!

Marlon Tuazon is currently Pampanga’s representative in the prestigious Philippine Fashion Coalition, whose initiatives support research and development in the local textile industry. He is continually being featured in major broadsheets (i.e., Philippine Daily Inquirer, Philippine Star) and several fashion and society magazines (MEGA, Philippine Tatler, Preview, etc.) for his outstanding work and contribution to Philippine fashion.
