MARIAO SULLIVAN

Maria o Sullivan is an Irish born and British nurtured, womanswear designer and creative pattern cutter. She moved to the UK to study fashion design in 2008 where she graduated in 2011 with first class honours and closed the University for the Creative Arts Rochester show at Graduate Fashion Week. Her experience of working with a wide variety of london based designers has lead to an eclectic blend of design aesthetic ranging from Gareth Pugh, Maarten Van Der Horst, Sorcha O Raghallaigh and Rafffaele Ascione.

Maria o Sullivan has a unique take on design with a strong yet feminine look. There is always an individual behind the clothes and although contemporary design is at the forefront, comfort and wearability is key. Her understanding of what women want to wear and feel good in, combined with her buying and pattern cutting experience lead to a commerciality that appeals to the wearer.
