"Army of me" its a collection which aims to reflect the fight of the actual women against prejudices, male violation, and equality.
The inspiration for this collection comes from different historical and other more personal sources. Woodstock festival and its relation with army, together with a personal insight which is the inspiration from rural areas, where i come from, the land textures, and the materials used in that zones. Build a collection with a background which means to encourage young women like me, as long as make the gender stronger and therefore all the women.
Silhouettes represent a femenine fluid shape, besides a bulky and more stiff form. Making it a collection that reflects a woman who can be sweet and cute, but strong who knows what she wants and so she fights for it. The same idea is represented on the color palette as pastel colors contrast with the darker green of the military items.
The collection is suited between the city and the nature, and due to this, the project become a environmentally related collection.
Represented by recycled pieces, the looks introduce all the army pieces and details, which are recycled and rebuild to create a new vision of every item.
Although this collection does not mean to be 100% sustainable, "my army" its made of recycled army gear, recycled jeans and recycled plastic straps, viscose, crep, linen and cotton. It means to be the start of a new and innovative way of working and producing further collections.
