Born in the south of Portugal, Lagos, Luciana Teixeira moved by passion at the age of 18 to study art and design at the City College Brighton and Hove, England in 2004. In 2007 returned to finally graduate as a fashion designer at the prestigious Portuguese fashion school Citex. During the final graduation year Luciana’s collection entitled ‘Frames’ won a place in the Portuguese fashion event ‘Portugal Fashion’ followed by an invitation to participate in the following seasons.
Recently she was nominated one of the best emerging Portuguese fashion designers of 2010 by the FTV fashion awards Portugal.
Her work is described as clean and conceptual, a combination between commercial and forward thinking, ideas with a strong visual impact a result of unique and genuine garments.
