Between Dream and Reality

My MA Project is about the contrast between dream and reality, and how that looks in a fashion context. The project is based on my personal interpretation of these two words.

I’ve worked with lots of different printing techniques and other textile techniques.
The graphic pattern of the dots in contrast to the randomness of watercolor splashes, is the key elements to these prints.

The silhouettes of the collection takes its inspiration from classical clothing items, such as the trench coat, the shirt etc. through deconstruction I have implemented draping into these usually straight shapes.

The combination of the print, the silhouette and the colors forms a modern, functional and personal collection of clothing. That has been made to suit everyday life.
