Designer Po graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University who also studied in the university of central England and worked for Misa Harada millinery in London. In recent years, she is more active in china market as a fashion consultant for different china brand.
“Sometimes I pretend to be normal, but it gets boring so i go back to being me.”
She also participated in public exhibition of BODW detour and “Heritage x Art x Design” by Hulu Culture in PMQ.
Melancholiandy, graduated with a BA from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. While living in London, he had worked with a few famous designers like Robert Cary Williams and Shelly Fox, giving him valuable experience in designing avant-garde outside of college. He joined Issa London as the first chief designer with Daniella Helayel. Since back to hk, he became a professional fashion consultant for a number of famous brands including Ferre, Issa London, Mondi and some other Chinese brands.

Fall Wall 2018 HanLu

The FW18 collection is inspired by a Chinese folk, HanLu. It's the 17th of the 24 solar terms in the traditional East Asian calendar. 'The guest geese arrive' - Geese which completed their migration in summer were considered 'hosts', and the later-flying ones as 'guests'. This pentad can also be interpreted as 'The geese arrive at the water's edge'. 'Chrysanthemums bloom yellow' - the chrysanthemum is known as one of the few flowers to bloom in autumn.

This collection, Loom Loop tried to raise concern on solar terms in modern city life. Geese and chrysanthemums feature vitality of late autumn and beginning of winter. With the humorous of the designer, the yellow wheat become noodle and being applied in print design helps to show a comprehensive picture of Hanlu. The color palette with, dynasty blue, Chinese red and black is a mixture of vitality and relaxation . Loom Loop favors both the all in one look in the same print and the mixing of the prints.

Sustainability always the keyword of Loom Loop. Eco-ink are being applied via digital print to create unique pattern for the collection. The use of the most luxury canton silk and silk wool blended fabric in the tailoring add fluidity to the otherwise clean lines and structured silhouette.
