Our Philosophy:
Lommer is an acronym from the words (we) LOve Materials (and we) MEet Requirements, which is the philosophy that the brand represents and also motivates our designs. At Lommer we believe that when we start with simple questions such as, why is this a certain way and what can we do to make it better, we immediately embark on a journey where we start seeing the world differently and exploring things around us in a unique way.
Our Inspiration:
We create unique bags & accessories, inspired by our love for experimentation with innovative materials and our passion for minimal aesthetics and timeless design.
Our Dream:
Creating contemporary and timeless designs that would be instantly recognizable and would make everyone who owns them feel special.
Our Awards:
Since the launch of the label in 2015, Lommer has won two international distinctions. A Silver A' Design Award for the tote bag, EvaTwo, and an International Design Award (IDA17) for the backpack, EvaPack.

We would like our customers to play a significant role in the product that they will acquire. By offering some extra parts independently, the bag owner can choose and change these parts, creating unique combinations. That's what we call Lommer Experience. So, feel free to Lommer it!
Meet the Designers:
Founders of Lommer, Danai Gavrili & Alkioni Matsourdeli are both product designers, raised in Athens, Greece, where they live & work today.
After her BA in Product Design, Danai attended the Master Program in Design (scholarship) at Domus Academy in Milan, where she collaborated with companies such as Tucano, Bayer, Leroy Merlin, and Grupo Corbeta. She has participated in several projects and exhibitions.
Alkioni studied Interior Design at T.E.I. of Athens and Product Design at AKTO (Middlesex University of London). She has a number of awards from competitions in Design and has also collaborated with Greek Gastronomy Museum as Concept Designer.
Danai and Alkioni’s great ‘chemistry’ in working together and their common passion for design led them to create Lommer and make a difference to the design world, together.
