“CROSS-PATHS”

More than the place that we are from, the place where we live, or any labels or stereotypes put on us by society, we all want and should be seen for who we really are, and how we like to be perceived. We are connected by one planet, and crossing paths/immigration/travelling is allowing different styles and cultures to be immersed in different places all at once. It is helping us grow by learning from each other’s preferences, respecting them, and allowing freedom in decision-making. This capsule collection is about being global, versatile, diverse, and connected, all on the same planet. It’s about having the ability to adapt to the needs of each moment and finding how we can modify several garments depending on the look we want to achieve. Each one of us has our preferences, but all of us want to feel good in our bodies with our ideal look. That’s why I offer sustainable options to the always-changing trends with pieces that can be transformed into other garments and be able to be constructed or deconstructed easier for recycling purposes. Also, in the search for an intermediate profile between feminine-masculine-alternative, I have decided to go for more of a unisex look that plays with proportions and allows garments to be worn by different users and their preferable taste. For me, “good design” utilizes all available resources and provides functional solutions while respecting nature and people; I believe that by offering versatility in my garments, we could expand the lifecycle of clothes and create unique pieces. All of us are on the same planet, and we are becoming inclusive and more open-minded, “Cross Paths” shows different styles as a whole, exhibits how we have been brought together by the power of fashion and how life is a fun mix of ideas that need to be shared.
