Starting from minimalist poet Robert Lax’s text “A problem in design”, in which the author asks himself whether it’s preferable to draw “big flowers or straight lines”, the collection reinterprets garments that are typically masculine to become romantic taking inspiration for details and volumes from kidswear.
Tailored jackets’ and coats’ “straight lines” get sweetened even more by the choice of light and transparent fabric and from the “big flowers” embroidery that plays on the continuity of the line, demonstrating that rigour and softness, maturity and girlhood can coexist in harmony.
