Leophil

LEOPHIL is a womenswear label founded by fashion designer Valerie Jantz and based in Australia. Jantz graduated from the Academy Of Fine Arts in Basel with a bachelor in fashion design after finishing an apprenticeship in millinery. On graduation she gained extensive work experience at several distinguished ateliers in Paris and New York before moving to Australia. Her label LEOPHIL is based on eco-conscious design practices and expresses her love for minimal design, mixed with skillfully executed craftsmanship. The quiet designs are rich in details and always made from high quality natural fibres which are mainly sourced from Japan and Australia.
Jantz has been awarded the prestigious Swiss Design Award and was shortlisted for the Australian National Design Award.
