Caprichos is the third capsule collection of the brand.
The source of inspiration for the collection was the work of Spanish artist Francisco-José de Goya, namely his world-famous series of etchings "Caprichos". On the pages of this work, the artist depicts not only gloomy reality of 18th century Spain, overshadowed by epidemics and the rampages of the Inquisition and social inequality, but also mocks the vices of his contemporaries.
Summarizing the year 2020 and all the difficulties with which our society had to face, the designer made an analogy between the current situation in the world and years of the artist's life. Working on this project led to the idea of the repetition of history and the universality of human experience.
Without changing its ideology of sustainable fashion and in the spirit of cyclical fashion the main materials used for the collection are upcycled silk, organza, chiffon, lace, hand-knitted fabric, as well as natural and artificial leather.
Being inspired by 18th century Spain and a huge maha subculture feminine silhouettes with corsets, elegant gloves and variations on the theme of mantillas prevail in this collection.
This collection was shown DURING UKRAINIAN FASHION WEEK AS PART OF AN ALL UKRAINIAN CONTEST FOR YOUNG DESIGNERS 'LOOK INTO THE FUTURE' in 2021 as well as berlin fashion week in 2022.
