Originally from Pennsylvania, USA, Leah is studying an MA in Fashion at Iuav University of Venice.  After graduating in 2019 with a BA in Writings and not sure what to do next, her desire for travel led her to a family in Reggio Emilia, Italy, where she was an Au-Pair.  Through various destined encounters, she began her journey into fashion design.

While her broader interests include writing, photography, and music, making clothes has become her greatest passion.  She is inspired by the way clothes contain, transmit, and create emotions.  Investigating this connection between clothes and emotions, she seeks to curate a narrative with every piece. Inspirational sources include romance, queerness, ambiguity, chaos, and softness.
