Born and bred in south east London to a scottish mother and a father who liked to take photos, her inspiration often comes from road trips of her youth, heritage and rummaging through the photography books at the library looking at people from the past. Her innovative use of textiles combined with well-proportioned shapes brings something new and exciting to the table.

Since graduating from the University of Westminster Laura was shortlisted for the David Band textiles award at this years GFW. She was also runner up for Grazia's Fash Factor competition which led to her being invited to the Grazia/BFC/Save the Children event at 10 Downing Street. She has been featured by Disorder Magazine and Scotland on Sunday's magazine and more recently her work has been seen on Sarah Jane Crawford of Radio 1Xtra.

She will be taking up her place on the CSM MA in November. Her work placements include Agent Provocateur, House of Holland, Hermione de Paula, Gemma Slack, Emma Griffiths and the Cloth House.
