The collection describes a predetermined imbalance triggered by the socially shaped personality of each individual. Social standardizations and milieu-dependent circumstances shape identity into an unstable ideal: a shell of the true persona. The vulnerable self, protected and enveloped by the false self, blurs the worn mask of imposed identity with reality. Awareness of the lost identity disappears. Memories fade and an inner emptiness returns, followed by a feeling of powerlessness that ends in the unconscious loss of one's self. Artificially imposed perfection becomes a survival strategy in a modern world determined by unspoken expectations and rules of a society. Social norms create prisons from which even the strongest cannot break out. Impenetrable and compartmentalized on the inside, the external representation of a cool, detached and performance-oriented persona is formed. Adapted to the fast-moving environment, one's own feelings are ignored. Unable to consciously experience one's own emotional world, a monotony of everyday life develops. The emotional control is paid with the price of liveliness.

The fragile personality of the collection is revealed through the materiality. Woolen fabrics and smooth leather create an unnaturally perfect appearance and an atmosphere of unpretentiousness. Chain elements as well as lacing elements communicate the imposed external constraint and the locking away of the actual being. Masks covering the mouth result in a visualization of one's own prohibition to unfold. At the same time, the identity-obscuring head coverings are an allusion to the advancing loss of identity. Symmetry and sprawling volumes underscore the unnaturalness and madness of the collection. The reinterpretations of the shirt, suit, pencil skirt and pump act as a reference to today's business descodes, often used to enhance seriousness and self-confidence. The forced dominant persona results in the silhouette through the use of wide padded out shoulders and design elements, which also creates spatial distance from others. Contrasting with this are fine, airy pleated fabrics with cut-outs that expose the vulnerable parts of the body. Light, sheer fabrics are placed on tight corsages, describing the feigned figure of freedom in trapped convention. The color scheme is deliberately chosen monochrome and dreary. Black, white and gray gradations emphasize the monotony of everyday life and at the same time play with the plastic perfection of a flawlessly shining white.

The collection deals with trained social conventions and criticizes the current fast-paced world with its dangers for the free development of personality/individuality from the aspect of mental health.
