Lara is a lively, forward thinking womenswear designer born in London of Italian descent. Recently graduated from Kingston University with an honours degree in Fashion, she has represented the university with her portfolio at Graduate Fashion Week.

Her quirky, playful style is grounded in English tradition using her keen eye for the tailoring and detail of historical, functional menswear with function as a key to her work, in order to ensure that the design is taken seriously in spite of a cheeky nature.

Lara has a natural understanding of proportion, texture, colour and most importantly, (and rare) style. This allows her to comfortably twist and distort tradition into something even more fun, playful and sophisticated maintaining femininity even when playing with very masculine themes.

Womenswear collection based on Alfred Hitchcock's persona, style, ability to mix seriousness with fun, his obsessive love and impecable eye for detail.
With the application of a couture technique the designer creates many of her own textiles in this collection featuring Hitchcock's 'Birds' in a distorted manner.
In this graduate collection the designer plays with very masculine themes using her quirky, playful style that is grounded in English tradition using her keen eye for the tailoring and detail of historical, functional menswear with function as a key to her work, in order to ensure that the design is taken seriously in spite of a cheeky nature.
