I'm coming from relatively small European country that does not count more than eight million people, however, I am living on the most populous island in the world called Java.

After completion of the College of Fine and Applied Arts in Belgrade, I had a bit of luck to continue my studies of sculpture at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts, Denpasar, Bali. Indonesia has fascinated us with a large biodiversity and rich cultural heritage. Unique arts and crafts, ancient temples, music, dances, costumes, rituals, and numerous festivals demonstrated us the vivid life of archipelago and its colorful culture. These are some of the reasons why my husband and I decided to return to the smiling land. Last year I have finished Master's studies at the Department of Performing and Fine Arts in Yogyakarta, a city which is Javanese cultural capital.

In a special region of Yogyakarta (I just love the Indonesian acronym for this region, which reads DIY) I have an opportunity to enjoy nature, ancient temples, and diversity of arts and crafts. I socialize with many artists and artisans which enhances our artistic and personal life, through exploring different approaches, styles, cultures, lifestyles, and worldviews.

I will do my best to present the piece of this magical land, through carefully selected handiwork of some of the skilled artisans. All items are handmade in cooperation with me, and if you have some special wishes and ideas do not hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to grow and create together.
