Laerke dramshoej

Born and raised in copenhagen, laerke dramshoej is currently in the middel of her master studies at the swedish school of textiles. her work centers around sustainability, only working with industry leftovers, 2hand materials and garments. This project explores how one can use 2hand garments original pattern construction and garments signatures, as guidelines for 3D garment creation. ♻️

The methods applied on 2hand garments investigate traditional usage, shape and how to create new form and silhouettes. allowing a reconstructed garment to be reversed/transformed back to point 0, keeping its original value, and thus making its sustainable potential higher. laerke will be focusing in her master thesis to investigate recycling and upcycling further for the hope of contributing to a more sustainable fashion industry.
