Born out of love for Indian handloom techniques ‘Meesa’ was launched in the year 2017 by designer Sakshi Agrawal. Born and brought up in Delhi, sakshi’s persona was always marked by a creative streak. After her marriage to industrialist Rishu Agrawal, SAKSHI decided to give a chance to her love for designs and enrolled herself in Pearl Academy, Delhi. After successfully attaining her knowledge in the field of designing, SAKSHI Agrawal founded the brand ‘Meesa’. The brand was conceived with the passion for working with unusual fabrics, texturing and detailing. SAKSHI’s creations evoke images of different parts of India. She describes her own creations as an ‘international styling with an Indian soul’. Meesa is a premium everyday brand that aims to bring sustainability into the brand specializing in unconventional textures and hand embroideries. The brand translates the appeal of the women of the 20th century, who work relentlessly for their survival while keeping their roots and culture intact.

meesa comes here with a will to change the perception among people by promoting the idea of "SLOW IS THE NEW TREND" by reviving waste and being light on our planet.

Initially, the kitchen stains inspired our founder to utilize domestic waste into something meaningful, dedicated to sustainability. With a bit of research, and, huge heaps of onion peels, pomegranate peels, and dry flowers from pooja ghar, our team experimented solely in-house to come up with natural dyes for the whole collection.

Our collection is a reminder of thinking before dumping waste as anyone can recycle or reuse whatever they are throwing away rather than adding to the landfill.
