Kwong Yan Loi

Kwong Yan Loi is a Hong Kong based unisex fashion designer. She interned at Thakoon prior to launching her brand in 2016.

The brand signature revolves around creating sculptural 3D designs with voluminous forms and experimental structures. The brand also focuses on texture and technique to craft garments, working with small details to express concepts, generating a series of significant and exciting apparel. Inspiration frequently comes from social issues, which are treated with sensitive humour and delicacy, raising awareness.

In 2016, the previous collection “Wait a minute” was selected as one of the 24 finalists foe Mittelmoda, which resulted in the collection being shown in Milan, Italy.
