KIKIITO is a London based luxury brand founded by Japanese born designer Kiki Ito. Fascinated by the simplicity behind contemporary art and architecture, Kiki brings this philosophy into her own limited collections, where every piece remains authentic and personal.

Kiki ito Grew up in Japan and influenced by her father, a contemporary landscape architect, She was fascinated by the concept and simplicity behind contemporary art and architecture, this philosophy she brings into her own collection of limited productions, where every piece remains authentic and personal.

During her early career, Kiki apprenticed with Harry Mattes, a leading couture handbag artisan whose A-list clientele included Bruce Oldfield, Jasper Conran and the Royal family. During this time she acquired the mastery of leather crafting before working for renowned brands such as Globe-Trotter.

With 20 years of experience in craftsmanship, Today, all KIKIITO bags and accessories are skilfully handmade in London, respecting traditional artisanship and production methods to minimise material waste.

Through the cosmos collection the Japan-born and London-based brand will be celebrating the beauty of imperfections in life. With 20 years of experience in craftsmanship, the brand’s founder and designer Kiki, wished to use this line as a talisman of simplicity and uniqueness.

Made using soft leather and adorned with bridle leather details, the SANAGI, SANAGI GRANDE and TUKI bags all feature a special structured build, embraced by a spiral leather cord meant to depict our journey and countless stories that surround us. The unexpected star of this collection, the SANAGI MINI, dressed in luxury Duchess silk and smooth leather details, accompanies the wearer shining like a star in a dark sky.

‘I wanted for this collection to depict our journey and stories, and the way they translate into our own individual universe as we continue to find our own balance – we create our own universe’, Kiki states. The slow fashion brand that first launched in 2018 has since travelled from the designer’s birthplace and through LA, and taken root in London, where all of the pieces are now designed and handcrafted with authenticity and sustainability in mind.
The designer hopes that this collection speaks of her wish for “pause and observation of what surrounds us”, and is now looking forward to further establishing her bespoke production studio, House of Ito, which she has been building since July 2021, working solely on custom designs.
