London-based KAYOMO LAB is the first experimental fashion label of its kind. Launched in late 2016 by Zyad Khoury and Alexandre Khawam, Kayomo Lab is based on the concept of fashion experimentation, and caters exclusively to the “Startup generation”, a cross cultural movement of people of all ages and cultures that openly embrace tradition but are not satisfied with the status quo and always want to find better ways to improve, adapt, or redefine it. This is the backbone of the Kayomo Lab brand.

KAYOMO LAB essentially aims at experimenting on all stages of the creation and production process, in an effort to redefine how traditional pieces are worn, by improving not only their quality and functionality, but also their affordability. Blurring the line between tradition and modernism, the offering is always based on innovative design and high functionality, with a bespoke approach in mind. At the core of the brand lies a zero-tolerance policy on quality. This is ensured by the collective support of retired master tailors during the sourcing of fabrics, design stage and production of the collection. KAYOMO LAB leverages their savoir-faire to ensure only the best version of the product reaches customers.

The KAYOMO LAB brand universe draws from an exciting blend between the traditional and the avant-garde, nuancing classics with unconventional details. Sartorial tradition is fused with an ample silhouette and a subtle nod to the uniforms of aristocracy. Acknowledging the ingrained divide between runway fashion and the pragmatic needs of today’s women and men, KAYOMO LAB proposes a unisex consideration of form and fit through a multi-generational lens – where age or time is no object of style.

From the debut of KAYOMO LAB, essential partnerships with the best Italian manufacturers and retired master tailors have fostered a pragmatic approach to artisanal garments.
