I am a 22 year old graduate that has a devotion to sustainability and knitwear. My goal is to collaborate knitwear and woven fashion together, in order to produce colourful textile-based pieces. Recreating products from existing pieces and deadstock materials is highly motivating for me, as well as to truly stick to my values of being sustainable and extending the lifecycle of products further. I always find myself creating and making new things to push my skills further, which was the reason to start a brand for myself.

Childs Play

My designs were inspired by mine and my family’s experiences growing up. It collaborates our favourite memories together and including our favourite places to stay in, and what we did that made us happy. When I was young, I used to love dressing up in my parents clothing and mixing them with bright princess dresses with their traditional pieces. This would create oversized silhouette shapes which was the core inspiration for my design outcome and fit on the body. Within my collection, I have introduced using crochet within a fabric garment to make this more colourful and create a pattern in a more imaginative way.
