Katia Kozyreva

I am a fashion designer, stylist and blogger from Moscow, Russia. In 2009 i graduated from the Moscow Art and Industry Institute as a fashion gesigner. Since then, the collections have been developing under the name Katia Kozyreva, also i worked as a stylist and write in several online mags, mostly about fashion or so)
As for clothes, I was always interested in cutting. Not a classic cutting, but deconstruction or the maximum simplification of it. I'm trying to find new ways of cutting, using simple geometry. It seems strange to me to emphasize body by clothes. Wear- it's still his defense, a sort of cocoon, hiding it from the world. However, my goal is to find a balance between the obvious and the hidden.
In fact, Katia Kozyreva design is simple forms with meaning. Comfortable, made of natural materials and highly customized. Have prints in them is possible only if the form is simple. And vice versa - complicated forms needs no decor and bright fabrics. Such clothing is definitely not for everyone. But those who like to create images and express themselves through them, will always be able to find something different from Katia Kozyreva.
