Born in Kyrgyzstan to an architect father and a mother passionate about apparel design, Kateryna was constantly surrounded by diverse visual and design influences. Her childhood was filled with contrasting exotic cultures. She traveled frequently and experienced the fall of the Soviet Union and the creation of an independent Ukraine. It was the breaking of old taboos and the discovery of new frontiers in language, mentality and culture that inspired her to search for harmony and to realize her own vision of the truth.

She studied fine arts at the School of Art in Crimea and Artistic Apparel Design at the National University of Technology and Design in Kiev.
She then moved to Paris where she graduated from the well-known fashion school Studio Berçot. During the course of her studies she won several competitions, and her works were exposed in the Galliera Fashion Museum in Paris.

Working as a fashion illustrator for French designers (such as Robert Normand and Eric Tibusch), for the trends agency ‘Peclers Paris’, and styling for ‘Numero’ magazine, she gained a deeper insight and understanding into the processes of creation and visual imaging.

After a decisive experience at ‘Rue du Mail’ by Martine Sitbon, she decided to focus on accessories, and in 2009 Kateryna created her first line of jewelry that was subsequently presented at the gallery ’Moto 777'.
A collection of bags quickly followed and was shown at salon “1ère Classe” in Paris.
