The strength of nature greets us from the pieces of KataSzegedi’s AW13/14 collection. The collection, named Current Waves, is characterized by motives inspired by rocks, waves, ice and storm. The custom digital prints were again created in cooperation with print designer Sarolta Udvardi.

The prints of KataSzegedi’s A/W collection were inspired by Jackson Pollock’s abstract expressionist works. The American painter is the most significant representative of action painting. Custom prints inspired by gestures dictated by spontaneous feelings and passion make up the basic motives of the collection.
"Pollock is one of my favorite painters. His artistic freedom and his passion inspired me when designing the collection," says designer Kata Szegedi.
Impressions of winter landscapes, storm, rocks and clouds greet us from the pieces of the collection. Once again, the designer created the digital prints of the AW13/14 collection together with Sarolta Udvardi. Klein blue, steel grey, ice grey, black and optic white shades appear on neoprene, wool, silk-muslin and pleated silk. Characteristic for the brand, oversize and bodycon silhouettes alternate in the collection, big and loose tops are paired with tight, waist pants.
