Karma by Marcia Arocha

Marcia Arocha, was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She studied Media Communication at the Andres Bello Catholic University in Caracas. Upon graduation, she travelled abroad to study fashion design at the Marangoni Institute in Paris. There, she explored with textures, laser cuts and exquisite finishes in different materials.

After graduation, she moved to New York to continue her training at Oscar de la Renta.

She returns to Venezuela in 2013 and creates the very successful clothing brand “Karma”, which receives wonderful reviews in the local fashion scene and establishes Marcia Arocha as one of the most promising young designers in the country.

In early 2015, she moves to Miami in search of broadening her audience and give the brand a more international output.

Karma by Marcia Arocha is a ready to wear brand for women who like edgy and stylish pieces of clothing. It could be defined as elegant and eclectic, while still maintaining a playful look.

Arocha, is recognized by creating limited collections with delicate materials. The texture contrasts and the fabric mix and match are always in her designs. She experiments with different fabrics, trying to emulate art and emphasize the feminine silhouette.

Marcia Arocha’s designs stand out immediately do to her distinctive feminine aesthetic and elegant craftsmanship. She is extremely attentive to detail. Thanks to that, Karma is recognize by its high quality reputation and consequently, its signature.
