My name is Katherine Bruno and I recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design studying Fashion and Accessory Design. My work can be described as playful, colorful, and expressive with a multidisciplinary approach, and it offers an interpretation for how art and fashion coincide. There is a fascination to work in more than one area of art, and accessories is the medium in which I translate those interests.

Please Do (Not) Touch the Art

Please Do (Not) Touch the Art is a womenswear, seasonless collection inspired by wearable art and sculptural forms. The garments serve as fabric sculptures with an intersection of fashion, accessories, and industrial design. Accessory construction techniques, hyper-real shapes, 3D printing, and tactile surfaces are all prevalent throughout the collection. This collection is a proposal to be playful and silly as the wearer becomes the art.
