Joseph Horton is a luxury Womenswear label creating garments with an attention to textures and silhouette. Structural yet simple silhouette forms the centre of the design ethos, which is then positioned adjacent to changes in surface and texture and engineered looking details. Design processes begin with impact of silhouette. The attention to silhouette is a key aspect of the design process and largely informs how a garment interacts with the movement of the female body. The exploration of surfaces surrounds this idea of organic vs. synthetic and are placed adjacent only to inform us of their differences.
