Jonathan Kaplan is a menswear designer, a graduate of the B. Design in Fashion & Textiles (Honours) at the University of Technology Sydney.Both whimsical and inspired by the mundane, Jonathan Kaplan takes the classics of menswear and presents them in quirky and excited new ways. With a background in illustration Jonathan Kaplan utilises his skills in illustration and storytelling to create new and unusual characters, challenging the modes of contemporary male dressing.

ABGRUND

'Abgrund' explores the Mitteleuropa of yesteryear - its grand coffeehouses, boulevards, theatres, salons and the largely forgotten figures who inhabited them. 'Abrgund' combines classical tailoring with exaggerated silhouettes and contemporary prints to create an eccentric Autumn/Winter range echoing the varied characters who reappear in every generation, albeit in a different guise.
