Indulging deeply into the wonders of what makes us all human, I find the beauty in discomfort and the weirder parts of our lives. Differentiating humans with nature is inevitable in fashion, but fusing the two in harmony is the challenge. This is what I’m always keeping in mind, as I work from inspiration to result. I have a strong belief that we are allowed to experiment with the human body and play with silhouettes in the most unorthodox ways, to create viewpoints, seen even in the darkest parts of our minds.

I will always use drama in my work to translate a narrative, and in as many dimensions as possible. You will find multimedia on my Instagram page, along with images from my personal life. I have to use aspects from my personal life in my practices, making concepts most effective. And I will always keep beautiful mistakes in my work, they draw humility and life into each garment.

I Hate Mondays -Spring Summer 2020

For this collection my inspirations were drawn from the comedy of the shop floor. Seeing pantomime characters within people and their personalities that are found in the world of retail.

Look one is the 'Whiney Old Hag'. She is the fat old lady who stands behind the till all day, waiting for her next tea break. Her back is breaking and she's eaten so much cake that she's slowly turning into a cake stand.

Look two and three are the 'Jokers in The Workplace'. They represent the self proclaimed comedians of the shop floor, always bestowing uncalled for jokes and fun. They are sexist. They are irritants. They are not funny.

Look four, we will have to talk about quietly. 'The Manager'. Like a pint of bleach, this evil pantomime character can wash away all of your hopes, dreams, and holidays. You'll have to think again if you thought she was there to help. She feeds off of manipulation. Forget communicating like an adult, you'll have to shout at this beast just to get a word in edge ways.
