Lin Jiang was born and raised in China. After finishing his B.A fashion degree in Shanghai, Jang started his M.F.A degree study in Savannah, Georgia. Now Jiang is a Savannah based womenswear fashion designer.

Jiang is a craftsman who focuses on elegant silhouettes and good details. Influenced by life in Shanghai, Jang likes to get inspirations from culture, architecture, sculpture and social issues. Jiang's work aim to explore the relationships between women's bodies and garment structure through pattern-making and draping. Jiang won the Best Knitwear prize in the International Mohair Fashion Design Competition 2016 and his work was showcased on WGSN. In 2020, Jiang showcased his previous collections in New York Fashion Week.

Jiang is also a fashion illustrator. He is good at the use of brushstroke and line. He combines traditional medium and digital to create 3D illustration for his fashion collections and clients.

Lin‘s messy bedroom

For this collection, jiang was inspired by Tracey Emin's installation 'My Bed', and Jiang took photos to record the changes of his own bed in a month. From Clean to messy, Jiang was attracted by the structures that made by different garments. different from Emin's work, Jiang wanted to build his bed as a positive collection and use bright colors like pink, yellow and light blue to give people hope.
