Jessica Leclere is a textiles knit Chelsea College of Arts 2012 graduate. Born and raised in Paris from an English mother and French father she decided to settle in England as a Textile / Knitwear designer based in London. Jessica's final degree project was a collection of knitted garments inspired by the frosty atmosphere of Icelandic coastlines. These designs suggest an idea of drift wood and washed up rope by weaving in wood veneer and dip-dyed string in hand dyed knitted textiles. The cold and dreamy aesthetic of nordic landscapes influenced the collection's textures and colour palette.
