Founder
Entrepreneur and former model Jelena Jakovljevic Bin Drai entered the fashion industry as a model after winning the title of Miss Yugoslavia aged 18. With an education in business, architecture and economics complementing her extensive insider knowledge of the fashion industry, it was natural that Jelena turned her hand to design. In Dubai, Jelena carved out her own niche within the fashion industry, creating beautiful pieces that transcended both Western and Middle Eastern cultures, ultimately leading to the launch of Jelena by Jelena J. Bin Drai. Now, with haute couture and prêt-à-porter collections to its name, the brand has become the luxury label of choice for the UAE’s stylish elite.

Jelena by Jelena - Ready to Wear

The ready to wear line came from exotic red and wild fruit inspiration. The colours that we used this time were fuchsia, orange, wild berry, pomegranate, pistachio with an element of black and white broken glass segment lines.
Ready to wear is trendy but still has its own elegance. Its luxurious and yet at the same time wearable by hipsters. We have used high quality fabrics and finishings but still managing to keep the line affordable compared to high end brands in a similar range.
