Gaia, which means "Earth", Is a Chilean / Argentine neo-romantic brand project. It creates its basis in the representation of an optimistic protest towards mega industries and the environmental damage they cause to nature.

The brand project proposes a collection “Afloramiento”. The proposal revolves around a mix of neo surrealism and neo romanticism and it is set in a story about an exploration into the desert in search of a lost mining vein by a group of romantic explorers. Nature that seemed static begins to take on life and form. Throughout the collection, the clothing goes from the technicality of work clothes to blur with this nature, merging with the body. The technical, haute couture and mineralization are manifested in romantic clothing that revalues nature by deconstructing it in textiles and garments.
"Afloramiento" proposes an optimistic critical look at the mega-exploitation of the mining industry. The aim is to show the beauty of minerals as opposed to the environmental pollution and mega exploitation of the resource that the minerals extraction produces.
The sustainable axis is transversal in the brand project. For the creation of the collection work clothes discarded by different Chilean mining companies were reused, thus creating garments that cross the work and haute couture areas, exploring new constructive forms of design and innovation.
