Janet Wong

Janet Wong was born and raised in Hong Kong. She is currently studying Fashion Design in
SCAD Hong Kong. Before her graduation, she worked with local designer brands such as Knotti and LXN collection, established companies such as The Woolmark Company and M Missoni under the ValentinoGroup, working with designers and mainstream wool production & styling experience led her to a broad understanding of the fashion industry and its impact on the environment. She also worked as a freelancer and designed wedding dresses and sportswear.
Janet also loves looking into vintage garments and digging into details, knowing the histories and cultures behind them are always the starting point of her design concepts. Men’s tailoring is always her influential element in most of her collection.
When Janet was in her third year in SCAD, her collection pieces have been chosen by the Dean of Fashion to showcase in the fashion show, which her garments were appreciated by Miss J Alexander, runway coach of America's Next Top Model. Also, they have been displayed in local trade shows and exhibitions such as The Hub, Fashion Farm Foundation and Global Sources Exhibition.
