First of all, one between Burma and Yangon. A real instance of love at first sight - from both an aesthetic and human perspective - for a country that is continually opening itself up to the world and is endowed with a capital as fascinating as it is poetic.

Jamunmai also tells of my own meeting with Burmese women, their unique silhouettes and infinitely alluring nonchalance. Our creations are directly inspired by their slender and graceful forms.

Finally, this collection is the product of the fusion of my gaze as a young French designer with that of Mariko & New New Htike, to whom I am forever indebted.

All these encounters have given birth to a happy marriage between traditional Burmese features and fabrics, and a vision anchored in our own times, inspired by contemporary fashion.
