I am shy and usually stay within my comfort zone. However, when it comes to fashion, I would take risks and experiment. Being born and raised in Hong Kong, the diverse culture inspired me to explore unusual hybrid-like silhouettes through the process of deconstruction and reconstruction, combining parts of different garments in one. Meanwhile, I like to think of the ways of wearing a garment, whether it is transformable that can be worn backwards or turned into a two-piece. The interaction between the design and the wearer attracts me. Living a fast-paced lifestyle, I also like to inject athletic elements as simple as a panel of functional fabric or a drawstring detail to create my version of contemporary womenswear – versatility.
